Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company that is seeking a skilled professional to support and enhance its IT infrastructure.

The Role:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the company's IT systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the business. You'll work on a mix of BAU and project-based tasks, from troubleshooting network issues to implementing new technologies that drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
Support manufacturing operations by ensuring minimal downtime and high system reliability.
Implement security best practices to protect company data and assets.
Work on infrastructure upgrades and improvement projects.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs), virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide effective solutions.
Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
