Our valued client, a highly-regarded school in Sandwell, is on the lookout for a dedicated School Caretaker to join their dynamic team.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

- General site maintenance and repair tasks
- Conducting regular health and safety checks
- Managing school security including opening and closing the premises
- Liaising with contractors and managing onsite work
- Assisting with setup and takedown for school events

- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should bring the following to the table:

- General Knowledge of Site Maintenance: Experience in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting

- Health and Safety Awareness: Understanding of relevant regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment

- Enthusiasm and Willingness to Learn: An eager attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to new challenges

- Team Player with Initiative: Ability to work collaboratively with the school team while also being self-sufficient in managing tasks independently
