Electronics Technician

Permanent Staff | Horsham

The Company

A leading international company who specialist in the test and repair of legacy equipment.

The Role

This is a position that will require a flexible engineer. The role will include the use of a variety of test equipment, and fault finding electronic parts down to component level.

Key Responsibilities:

* Practical Electronic skills.

* Awareness of ESD (training will be given).

* Use of test equipment including digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generator, psu. Knowledge of older technology from the 1970’s an advantage.

* Documenting all processes within our quality accreditation.

* Ability to read electronic diagrams.

* General & PCB testing & repair.

* Basic fault finding.

* Soldering.

Requirements:

* Good problem-solving skills

* Willingness to adopt flexible work patterns when required to meet business needs

* Willingness to work with all levels within the organisation

* Strong analytical skills.

* Willingness to learn.

* Proactive and have excellent attention to detail.

* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in electronics.

* Be able to meet deadlines and be performance driven.

* Excel, Word & Outlook are essential.
