About Us: We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative & Van Driver on behalf of our client, a well-established independent plumbers' merchant. Our client provides high-quality plumbing and heating materials to trade and retail customers and is known for their excellent customer service. They are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join their team.

Job Description: Our client is looking for a Warehouse Operative & Van Driver to assist with day-to-day operations in their warehouse, help serve customers on the trade counter, and carry out local deliveries using the company van.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking, packing, and loading plumbing and heating materials for deliveries.

*

Receiving and storing stock efficiently in the warehouse.

*

Assisting customers at the trade counter with product selection and sales.

*

Making local deliveries to customers using the company van.

*

Ensuring the warehouse and trade counter areas are kept clean and organized.

*

Handling stock checks and inventory control.

*

Providing excellent customer service to trade and retail customers.

Requirements:

*

A full, clean UK driving licence (essential).

*

Previous experience in a warehouse, trade counter, or delivery role is desirable but not essential.

*

Good knowledge of plumbing and heating materials is an advantage.

*

A strong work ethic with attention to detail.

*

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

*

Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

*

A willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed.
