MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT REQUIRED FOR A RESIDENTIAL DEMENTIA CARE HOME BASED IN GUILDFORD

£13.00 - £14.00 PER HOUR (DoE)

40 HOURS PER WEEK

MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENSE

IDEALLY HAVE PREVIOUS CARE HOME MAINTENANCE OR SCHOOL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE

We are a well-established care home dedicated to providing exceptional care and a comfortable living environment for our residents.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team and help ensure that our care home remains a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance of the building & equipment.
Keep the home in good state of repair and in decorative order.
Conduct regular inspections of the care home to identify any potential issues.
Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks as needed.
Assist with fire safety procedures, including regular fire alarm checks and fire drills.
Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and adhered to.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
Support the Maintenance Manager in planning and executing larger repair projects.
