Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our Sheffield based client with their search for a Laser Operator.

Our client is a forward-thinking business who manufacture quality components for the Aerospace industry.

The Role

• To set laser cutting fixtures to datum’s
• To perform laser cutting operations of the components manufactured
• To check laser cut components to drawing specifications
• Maintain standard of all fixtures associated with laser process
• Ensure all products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer as well as internal standards

• To understand machine parameters and check against data cards
• Keep equipment operational by completing maintenance and calibration requirements

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous laser operating experience
• Ideally worked with Trumpf laser machines
• Previous experience working within aerospace
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings

Shift

This is rotating shift role:

Mornings
(Apply online only) (Mon-Thur)
(Apply online only) (Fri)

Afternoons
(Apply online only) (Mon-Thur)
(Apply online only) (Fri)

Pay

£33,471 per annum (including shift allowance)
Overtime paid at time and a half
