Children's Service Manager

This is a reputable provider of 24-hour live-in care services, dedicated to supporting children and young people with diverse needs across Nottingham. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Service Manager to join our dedicated team in Nottingham. As the Children's Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of outstanding care services in compliance with OFSTED regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our children's live-in care service in Nottingham, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and standards.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of compassionate care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
• Develop and implement individual care plans for each child, in collaboration with their families and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring their holistic needs are met.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes for children and young people.
• Act as a point of contact for families, local authorities, and other stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and effective communication.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
• Hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of best practices in children's social care.
• Registered with OFSTED as a manager or willing to undergo registration prior to employment.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential childcare setting, with a track record of delivering high-quality care services.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures pertaining to children and young people.
