Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary £55,000 to £80,000 DoE

An established Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Design Practice based in Hampshire are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on an ongoing contract basis.

They are a successful M&E Consultancy with an enviable portfolio of clients across, working on a broad range of projects including mix used developments, bespoke residential, commercial new builds and public sector schemes.

As a result of continued success and the award of additional projects, they seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis, to support and lead on projects from initial client contact and design brief to final account.

The successful applicant will be working on projects from start to finish, engaging with all project stakeholders both internal and external, carrying detailed designs and undertaking design review meetings to ensure project success as per schedule and to specification. The projects range from residential developments to new build commercial schemes.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will ideally be educated to degree level within a Building Services discipline and member of CIBSE, however my client is just as keen to meet prospective candidates who's experience outweighs qualification. The key element to this position are excellent communication and design management skills, coupled with the technical design capabilities.
