Purpose of the Role

This exciting new role is a combination of digital marketing, social media, promotion and advertising our brand. It encompasses support to fulfil our drive to deploy our sustainability policy, including Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) and assisting the planning of our charity events.

You will be enthusiastic to research, design and execute online marketing campaigns across digital marketing channels, your skills and knowledge will enable you to undertake organic and paid searches, and display advertising, email, and social media, create content marketing, digital public relations, and you will be energised to influence our audiences with your talents.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

* Digital Marketing

Providing support for the Commercial Director to achieve our core strategic goals for growth, you will apply yourself to the following tasks and responsibilities, with the vision to understand the impacts of outward communications.

Content of the website and social media, research advertising trends, appropriate placement of ads, and create content, publish digital marketing content online, help develop marketing campaigns, monitor and measure digital traffic, website & social media, optimise paid advertising campaigns by means of SEO and other tools, report on the analytics of campaigns, conduct market research to inform campaigns.

* External Communications

* Support the development of a digital marketing strategy

* Oversee the creation of social media content

* Creating visual concepts for promotional activities

* Manage the digital marketing calendar

* Maintaining the online presence and promotion of the company

* Track digital marketing performance and report

* Sustainability

With support from the senior leadership team, you will assist the business to implement its sustainability policy and influence the business to improve our environmental performance.

* Provide sustainability support towards an evolving policy

* Conduct research and analysis of work streams providing feedback

* Operational

Charity - plan and organise fundraising initiatives and promotion

* Authority

* Creative support and decision making.

* Interprets and advises on opportunities for marketing impact.

* Technical Skills

* Problem solving, analytical approach to seeking solutions.

* Fastidious attention to detail

* Ability to provide accurate and timely data/reports.

* Ability to prioritise and organise workstreams.

* Team Qualities

* Able to integrate well into a team and work unsupervised when required.

* Persuading and influencing clients, suppliers, and colleagues

* Empathy, and emotional intelligence, good communicator

* Key Experience/Qualifications

* Digital platforms, social media, marketing

* A natural interest in sustainability initiatives

* Microsoft suite, SharePoint, Apps, Canva (or similar)

* Data analysis, interpretation, and reporting

To carry out such other duties commensurate with the grading of the post, which may be determined from time to time.
