Construction Estimator (Mid-level) - Milton Keynes - Up to £50,000

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Estimator to join our clients expanding team, who are a well-established Main Contractor, covering projects across the East Midlands, North Bucks, Herts, Beds, Cambs. The role is office based.

Our client is expanding and work across non-residential projects within new build and fit-out.

The role

As an Estimator, you will occupy an office-based role and also carry out site visits/surveys when required. Working within a vibrant and collaborative company, this role will report to the Estimating Manager.

Main responsibilities of the Estimator include:

* Compiling Scopes of work from client briefs and documentation

* All aspects of tendering

* Able to run with tenders circa £5m.

* Sending packages to new and existing Sub-contractors across the supply chain

* Compiling estimates of true cost from multiple sectors and presenting to the Estimating Manager

* Presenting clear handovers for the Commercial and Operational stakeholders

Skills and experience:

* Experience in take off's of measurements

* Main Contractor experience preferable

* Construction Industry Qualification, Site/Trade experience or both

* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

* Ability to work to strict deadlines

* Ability to communicate and present clearly to all stake holders

* Experience using Estimating software (Causeway preferably), preferred but not necessary

* Experience with Excel, preferred but not necessary

* Minimum of 4 years UK Estimating experience

* Current and preferably clean driving license
