My client, a well-established electrical contractor based in West Yorkshire, is currently seeking a skilled Electrician for a Industrial project in Hull. The company operates throughout the North of England, providing high-quality electrical services for commercial and industrial sectors. Electrician Roles and Responsibilities
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, using appropriate protective equipment and adhering to safe working practices.
- Electrical Installations: Carry out installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and other electrical components.
- Testing and Inspection: Perform tests and inspections to ensure electrical systems are safe and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Fault Finding and Repairs: Diagnose electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical systems.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and standards, including the latest wiring regulations.
Electrician Requirements
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365, 18th Edition, or equivalent).
- Experience working in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical plans.
- Valid ECS or CSCS card.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in the workplace.
- Comprehensive experience as an Electrician working with main contractors or directly in electrical installations.
Electrician Benefits
- £18.00 - £24.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Working Hours: Typically 7:30am - 5:00pm, with potential overtime available.
