The Role – Managing Quantity Surveyor

Our client is currently seeking to recruit a competent Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Hampshire.

As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the quantity surveying functions for our client’s construction projects.

Collaborating closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders, you'll manage cost estimation, cost control, and financial reporting.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors and cost engineers

• Oversee cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project cost forecasting

• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers

• Manage change orders and variations while ensuring project profitability

• Provide strategic guidance and expertise in quantity surveying operations
