About the Role
As Head of PMO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class policies, procedures, and systems to optimise project management across large-scale infrastructure projects. You'll oversee all project controls workstreams, ensuring compliance and efficiency from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement policies and procedures for project scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and cost control.
Ensure consistent application of PMO best practices across all major capital projects.
Oversee project schedules, financial forecasting, and risk registers, driving proactive risk mitigation.
Manage contract-related financial activities and cost controls, ensuring accurate reporting.
Lead change control processes, monitor project progress, and recommend corrective actions.
Establish strong relationships with contractors, partners, and internal teams to drive project success.
Develop and oversee the PMO team, ensuring effective leadership, development, and performance management.What We're Looking For
8-10 years of experience in procurement and contract management within the energy or infrastructure sector.
Degree in procurement, supply chain management, quantity surveying, business, or construction law.
MCIPS or MRICS qualification required.
Strong understanding of FIDIC and NEC contracts.
Experience working within robust procurement systems and processes.Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and contract management skills
