Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum DOE

Our client is a leading insurance company experiencing phenomenal growth and are looking for a highly skilled Senior Pricing Manager to join their dynamic Household team. In this strategic role, you'll leverage your expertise to develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies that propel profitable growth.

Main Responsibilities:

* Leading projects in household insurance pricing – crafting and executing strategies to achieve ambitious growth goals.

* Building a high-performing team – leading, developing, and coaching a team of Pricing Managers and Analysts to foster a results-oriented environment.

* Harnessing the power of data – utilising advanced analytics like predictive modelling and machine learning to optimise pricing decisions.

* Building robust pricing models – creating and maintaining models to inform strategic decision-making.

* Presenting pricing recommendations to senior management and gaining approval from leadership.

* Managing the pricing control cycle – overseeing projects from start to finish.

* Influencing key stakeholders – effectively communicating with directors, senior management, and department heads.

* Translating complex concepts – making statistical insights clear and actionable for non-technical audiences.

As a Senior Pricing Manager, you will need to have the following skills/experience:

* A degree and 10+ years of experience in insurance pricing, particularly household insurance.

* Expertise in data manipulation using programming languages and software (e.g., SAS, SQL, Databricks).

* Proficiency in various predictive modelling techniques.

* Experience with a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python).

* A proven track record of applying analytics to solve complex business problems.

* Passionate leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop talent.

* Strong influencing and communication skills, adept at reaching all levels of the organisation.

* The ability to explain complex statistical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

* Self-motivation, a proactive approach, and a results-oriented mindset.

* Exceptional planning and prioritisation skills with a high level of organisation.

* A deep understanding of the personal lines market and underwriting cycle management.
