We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Hartlepool (TS25) for a temporary assignment, teaching a KS1 class. Position: KS1 Class Teacher
Location: Hartlepool (TS25)
Contract Type: Temporary for 1 term initially
Start Date: November 2024
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons that meet the educational needs of students in KS1
Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning requirements
Implement and maintain classroom management techniques that foster a safe and productive learning environment
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and development
Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to the school community through participation in events and activities
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally with specific experience in Year 2
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methodologies
Excellent organisational and communicative skills
Ability to commit to the duration of the temporary contract
An updated Enhanced DBS check
