Warehouse Operative

In this diverse position, you will support both the Warehouse and Production Teams in ensuring the timely provision of materials for work orders and finished goods for customer orders. Operating within demanding timelines, this role plays a vital part in the production and distribution of top-tier products for various uses on a global scale.
 
Responsibilities

 Goods In / Goods Out

Receiving, Blocking, Putting Away and Returning Goods
Sampling 
Waving, Rating, Picking, Shipping and Returning Finished Goods
Compiling or generating documentation including Checklists, Manifests and Dangerous Goods etc. Stock Control

Cycle-Counting
Replenishment Packing

Canning Liquids (25kg and above)
Equipment Cleaning
Palletisation
Labelling General

Use of Supplier, Freight and Partner websites to book shipments.
Record and report short or damaged deliveries. Team/Culture

Person Specification
    
Qualifications
·         GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths & English

Experience
·       Warehouse experience (desirable not essential)
 
Skills & Knowledge
·         Excellent attention to detail.
·         Able to maintain a flexible approach to business needs.
·         Knowledge and experiences of Goods In / Out and stock control
·         Experience of a Warehouse Management System (desirable)
·         Experience working in a fragrance or similar industry
·         Able to understand QC functions.
·         Dangerous Goods training (desirable)
·         Forklift Truck trained (desirable)
·         Detail-oriented
·         Innovates to come up with new ideas
·         Strategic thinker and good commercial acumen
·         Fluent in English language written and verbal
·         Excellent, caring and honest communication skills
·         Ability to deliver on commitments

Please note, this is role is full-time, Monday to Friday - 40 hour week.  Daytime.
