Are you a skilled and dedicated individual with a passion for agricultural machinery? Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a leading Main Dealer Agricultural company based across Norfolk, Suffolk and the surrounding areas to find a talented Agricultural Technician to join their dynamic team.

On Offer:

Competitive salary from £30,000 DOE
Realist OTE above £45,000
37.5-hour contracted week with overtime available paid at time and a half.
Company vehicle and fuel card provided for field service work.

Land-based engineering qualification or equivalent is desirable, but experience is key
Previous experience in agricultural engineering or working with forklifts/vehicles.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong diagnostic and problems solving abilities.
Commitment to health and safety standards.Responsibilities:

As an Agricultural Technician, you will play a crucial role in the service, repair, and maintenance of a diverse fleet of agricultural and groundcare machinery. From combine harvesters and tractors to ride-on mowers, you will be working on machinery from renowned brands such as John Deere, Kramer, and Stihl. Your responsibilities will include both workshop-based tasks and on-site fieldwork.

Key Duties:

Conduct service, repair, and maintenance activities on agricultural and groundcare machinery.
Work independently or as part of a team in the depot or on-site at customer locations.
Ensure the health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Diagnose issues and implement effective problem-solving solutions.
