The Person & Skills

* You should be enthusiastic and a strong communicator.

* Possess a strong commercial understanding and knowledge of working with a P&L.

* You will be an independent decision maker and know the impact of the choices you make.

* You must have a 1st class approach to customer support and be focused on achieving maximum customer satisfaction.

* You should be organised and able to follow & create structured processes.

* Able to set targets and lead a team to a world class performance.

* Ideally you will have previous experience managing a team of external Field Service Engineers and be familiar with a Mechanical / Electrical product, however someone with either strong Field Management skills or transferable skills will also be considered.

The Role

* You will be managing a team of 11 Field and site Service Engineers

* Maintaining and building relationships with customers and distributors.

* You will be working within the constraints of a P&L and increasing profitability via cost & revenue control.

* You’ll be fully responsible for the recruitment, training and development of all your Field Service Engineer's.

* You will be measured on margin control, service fulfilment, customer satisfaction and stock control.
