A leading Architecture firm is currently seeking a Principal Designer to join their dynamic team in Leeds.

An exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial and public projects.

The Principal Designer Role

You will collaborate with design teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that all projects meet regulatory requirements from inception to completion.
You will be involved in managing design risk assessments, preparing pre-construction information (PCI), and overseeing the review of construction phase plans (CPP).
The Principal Designer will work on diverse projects throughout the North, offering a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to enhance your career within a supportive environment.
This role offers the chance to lead high-profile projects, developing your skills while making a real impact on the region's construction landscape.

The Principal Designer

Proven experience as a Principal Designer within a consultancy environment
Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
Background in design, architecture, or construction
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
APS or IOSH membership is desirable
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
