Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

Lead the preparation of management accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for two entities within the group
Assist with financial accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements and balance sheets
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Collaborate with project managers to analyse costs and improve financial controls
Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations and company policies

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will have:

A solid background in management accounting, with experience in financial accounting duties
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience in the construction industry is a plus, but not essential
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
