We are looking for 2 Inspectors to carry out inspection of aerospace forgings for the main OEM's.

Contract role inside IR35

£25 per hour

Location: Redditch

Duration: 3-6 months

Visual inspection, with some forgings requiring manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.

Job Description:

Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings efforts at their facility.
Daily inspection of Forgings. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
Further orientation will be performed onsite.

Frequency:

Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.Skill Requirements:

At least 3 years' experience using dimentional inspection equipment
Hands on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5
Must be able to interpret Blue Prints and drawings
Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes
Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports
Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggitt, Rolls Royce and some Defence Platforms.
