A leading mechanical and electrical building services engineering contractor is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects. The company specializes in large-scale commercial, healthcare, education, pharmaceutical, hospitality, and public sector projects across the UK.

Role Overview:

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for managing electrical projects from design to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with clients, site teams, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects.

* Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

* Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting.

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.

* Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.

* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

* Monitor project performance and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in electrical project management within the building services sector.

* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and regulations.

* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.

* Relevant electrical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).

* Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are advantageous.

* CSCS Managers card, SMSTS, or equivalent certifications preferred.
