We’re working with a leading water & wastewater infrastructure business, looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to lead site projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards
Have the ability to work under minimum supervision and competent to check the work of others and supervise less experienced or junior staff
Carry out site visits and surveys, inspections assessment, supervise and support sub-contractors
Prepare and check feasibility studies, inspections assessment and technical reports and other written documents in an appropriate format ensuring compliance with procedures
Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental and all other appropriate regulations
Prepare/check design approach, calculations, drawings and documents
Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate identify innovation/best practice for consideration
Qualifications:
Engineering degree qualified
Chartered or Incorporated (CEng/IEng) or working towards
Previous utility industry knowledge and experience is desirable but not essential
Good written and oral communication and organisational skills
Computer literate and conversant with the MS Office suite
