As the General Manager of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for overall plant performance, ensuring alignment with our commercial and operational objectives.
You will champion the vision for a world-class facility powered by cutting-edge technology. You will play a pivotal role in enabling our growth trajectory and delivering operational excellence.
Your responsibilities as a General Manager – Manufacturing:
* Oversee the overall performance of the manufacturing plant, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational objectives, and achieving profit targets with no loss.
* Champion the deployment of in-house technology into daily operations, ensuring technology-enablement supports operational excellence.
* Collaborate with the Technology Team to develop deployment plans and feedback loops for ongoing innovation and development.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental, and Employment Laws, including the successful completion of audits.
* Manage the introduction of new products and processes across prototype and low-volume environments.
* Analyse, interpret, and present technical and production data to inform decision-making and support operational improvements.
Your current experience which will help you as a General Manager – Manufacturing:
* Chartered Mechanical Engineer with significant experience in the precision engineering industry.
* Extensive knowledge of multiple industry sectors, such as Aerospace and Automotive.
* Experience in New Product/Process Introduction across prototype and low-volume environments.
* Strong manufacturing leadership experience with full P&L accountability.
* Good working knowledge of CAM programming, with experience using packages such as MasterCam, Siemens NX, and Fusion.
* Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical information to make informed decisions.
