Stores Person – Asset Storage & Deployment  Site-based 6–9 Month Contract Oswestry, (Potential to go Permanent) £25-30 per hour paye / umbrella

We’re seeking a dedicated professional to manage the storage, coordination, and deployment of assets on a major construction project within the water utilities region.

As the Stores Person you will be:

Receiving, storing, and organising construction-related assets and equipment
Coordinating deliveries and ensuring all materials are stored safely and efficiently
Maintaining accurate stock records and asset data using digital tracking systems
Liaising with procurement teams to prepare for scheduled deliveries
Ensuring equipment is deployed to subcontractors as needed for installation
Working closely with site teams to manage storage areas and logistics
Adhering to health & safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment What You Need as the Stores Person

Strong organisational skills with experience in stores, warehouse, or logistics coordination
Ability to track and manage inventory using digital systems
Health & Safety awareness (CSCS card preferred)
Experience working in construction, engineering, or site-based environments
Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers, contractors, and site teams As the stores person it would be a nice to have:

Knowledge of asset management systems
Familiarity with construction or mechanical equipment storage
Experience working with subcontractors and procurement teams This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a major infrastructure project
