The Accounts Coordinator will manage financial records payments and client accounts for a care facility serving adults with complex needs. This role requires attention to detail and efficient handling of billing payments and record-keeping. Working closely with finance and administrative teams the Accounts Coordinator will help ensure the smooth and compliant financial operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
The Accounts Coordinator will process invoices payments and maintain accurate records. They will track receivables follow up on overdue payments and manage vendor relationships. They will prepare monthly and annual billing for clients including any customized care packages and work with care managers to ensure client accounts reflect changes in services. Additionally the Accounts Coordinator will support the Finance Manager with monthly quarterly and annual reporting and assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
This role includes preparing and submitting payroll information with the HR team and maintaining accurate records of staff hours overtime and payroll adjustments. The Accounts Coordinator will ensure compliance with all financial regulations assist with audits and keep financial records organized. They will also provide support to management for budget queries and financial documentation. Professional communication with clients families and guardians regarding financial inquiries or billing issues is essential.
Qualifications:
A degree in finance accounting or a related field or equivalent experience is required along with previous experience in accounting finance or administration. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage and knowledge of payroll systems and processing are also necessary.
Skills:
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and accuracy excellent communication skills to handle inquiries professionally proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word etc.) and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in healthcare care or a nonprofit environment is helpful but not required. Understanding of basic billing processes and funding structures
