Job Title: Mechanic – Agricultural Machinery

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to £40k

Hours of Work: 40 Hours Monday – Friday

Type: Permanent

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

Our client is a privately-owned, family business trading in agricultural machinery and equipment. They have a requirement for a number of Mechanics to join their team on a permanent basis.

Duties

* Repair work.

* Routine servicing and maintenance.

* Fault finding.

* Service visits to customers premises.

It is essential or preferrable that you have the following experience, qualifications or skills;

* Working knowledge of the maintenance/repair of a range of agricultural & horticultural machinery.

* Clean, current driving licence.

* Experience driving a loaded van.

* Experience of working on compact agricultural tractors, ride-on-mowers & other ground care machinery & 2 stroke engines.

* Welding and gas cutting.
