Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

* Permanent position

* Hours: Mon – Thurs: 07:00 – 16:45,

* Could also work shifts 7am – 7pm/7pm – 7am (Monday – Thursday)

* Rate of Pay: up to £18.74 per hour for days

* When on shift the rate increases to £21.93 per hour.

* Pension – Match up to 6%

* Production bonus each

This is an exciting opportunity for a Time Served Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join an established business. Working Monday – Thursday repairing and maintaining machinery.

What you will be doing:

* Installing and commissioning of plant and machinery

* Machine upgrades

* Daily maintenance checks on machinery; reporting any major maintenance issues.

* Keeping accurate breakdown logs

* Ensuring machine records and manuals are accessible and in good working order

* PAT testing

What you will bring to the team:

* Experienced Maintenance Technician

* Time served

* 18th Edition

* PAT

* Experience with repair and maintenance of hydraulics and PLC controlled machinery
