CNC Machinist

Location: Leicester South

Salary is circa £30K.

Do you have a good steady work history running CNC machines?

Are you OK working a 6-2 / 2 - 10 shift.

Looking for a new secure position working in a very clean environment where the managers don’t shout every morning – where the work is low volume – manufactured accurately - and the company actually care about their staff?

The position involves running a 3 axis CNC Milling machine as well as working in other areas of the production area i.e. operating a diamond turning machine or a polishing machine. Ideally you will have experience working with inspection equipment and you can already work to a good standard producing the minimum of scrap. They will train you -but you will need to have CNC Milling experience to secure an interview.

The company want someone who has CNC machine experience and someone who has a good steady work history. People tend to stay at this company - (they are genuinely great to work for.)

This will be working in a small team – but the company is massive worldwide.

You also need to be open to some training - this isn't like any sub-contract jobbing shop – the company is secure, world wide, low volume, high value, high precision engineering company.

This is a great place to work - and the job is secure (essential in this market). There is excellent training at the company. Parking is easy. The team are a friendly bunch - and the managers are nice people. The company genuinely cares about their staff.

Candidates need to be currently living in or close to Leicester or the surrounding area. They are easily accessible from Blaby, Whetstone, Glen Parva, Lutterworth, Narborough, Earl Shilton, Wigston, Stoney Stanton and surrounding areas.

There is a little bit of lifting - not excessive - but occasionally in access of 5kgs.
