Principal People are seeking a Health and Safety Professional to be part of a successful and established civil engineering business that boasts an impressive Health & Safety record and offers excellent opportunities to work across large-scale infrastructure works.

With sites across Buckinghamshire, this is a fantastic opportunity to expand your experience and grow your career within a dynamic and reputable organisation that operates across Major Projects. With direct reports and management responsibility, this role would suit a Health & Safety professional who has strong leadership skills and had led teams across large-scale infrastructure projects.

Working alongside some of the most reputable construction businesses in the UK, this company works on exciting and diverse projects and is now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to lead functions on career-defining works.

Health & Safety Manager - £70,000 - £80,000 (Negotiable) + Car Allowance + Matched Pension + Healthcare + 26 Days AL + Bank Holidays & further extensive package – Buckinghamshire

Key responsibilities of this Health & Safety Manager include:

Implementing an operational Health & Safety Strategy
Implementing a positive safety culture
Continuing and maintaining a positive health & safety record
Leading a team of experienced Advisors
Covering sites across Buckinghamshire on a day-day basis
Support, coach & Mentor individuals both inside and outside of the health & safety function
Conduct incident investigations when required
The successful Health & Safety Manager will hold:

Experience working in Civil Engineering, Earthworks, Highways or Bridge Construction
Knowledge of working with Plant Equipment
Large-scale infrastructure or Major Project experience
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
Full UK Driving License
