Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Project Engineer Overview

This is a great opportunity for a project engineer / or junior project manager to join a growing R&D focused medical engineering company.

The business based near Aylesbury on the Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire boarder. The company are a small 25-30 person engineering business but part of a larger 300 employee company with annual turnovers exceeding £80m. This offers the feel of a smaller dynamic R&D focused business but with the financial protection of a larger company.

The business is looking for a project engineer to provide project support in a variety of areas; electronics, computer science/software development and mechanical engineering. You will coordinate and manage the release and launch of both new products and new projects.

The project engineer / project manager will ideally have some experience in project management and experience working in a multi-discplined engineering design department. Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings is helpful but not required, and some experience handling external relationships will also help. A degree level qualification is preferable within some form of engineering / STEM discipline.

Project Engineer Requirements

* Degree educated ideally within some form of engineering discipline

* Some project management, engineering or coordination experience

* Ablilty to interact with teams of engineers

* Knowledge of project planning, specification and coordination

* Some exposure to R&D departments which include all areas of mechanics, electronics and software engineering

* Excellent communication skills (both internal and external relationships)

* Really strong organisational skills
