Workshop Manager - Exciting Opportunity in Bespoke Production (Retail Displays)

Are you an experienced joinery professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role? A leading company in the retail display and events industry is seeking a talented Workshop Manager to join their dynamic team.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annumThe ideal candidate will have:

* 10+ years of experience in joinery or event build

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Expertise in production planning and scheduling

* Knowledge of CNC operations, joinery, spray finishing, and printing

* Experience with project management and scheduling tools

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing workshop production staff across various departments

* Implementing and overseeing production schedules

* Liaising with technical, project management, and installation teams

* Ensuring high-quality standards throughout the production process

* Overseeing health and safety compliance

* Managing stock control and material ordering

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating bespoke products. Experience in retail display manufacture or events is essential.This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of materials and production methods in a creative environment.
