Salary: £75 – £100 per day

GSL Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a client school in Bushey, Hertfordshire. In this role, you will provide one-to-one support to students, helping them thrive in a tailored learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to engage with their learning and develop their social skills.
Implement individualized strategies and interventions to manage and support positive behaviour.
Foster a safe and compassionate environment where students feel understood and motivated to succeed.
Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning experience.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with students with SEMH needs or similar, ideally in a one-to-one setting.
Strong behaviour management skills with a calm and patient approach.
A compassionate nature and a genuine interest in supporting students with additional needs.
The ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, helping them feel secure and valued.
