An Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school located in Shenfield is seeking a committed Humanities Teacher to join our academic team. This is a full-time, long-term supply role with the possibility of permanent employment. We are looking for an inspiring Humanities Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop a deep understanding of the humanities subjects. Candidates shortlisted must have QTS or significant experience teaching the UK curriculum-this requirement is essential and non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and informative humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following the UK curriculum.
Inspire and support students in their understanding of history, geography, and social studies topics.
Collaborate with colleagues within the humanities department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports a range of abilities, fostering curiosity and critical thinking among students in Shenfield.
Contribute to the positive school community and uphold the ethos of our Shenfield school.

Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or has proven experience teaching the UK curriculum (essential).
Experienced in delivering humanities content at the secondary level, particularly across KS3 and KS4.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with a dedication to student growth and achievement.
A passionate Humanities Teacher ready to inspire young minds and contribute to our school in Shenfield.
