On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Production Manager to oversee all aspects of production in their dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will lead a skilled team of engineers, technicians, and fabricators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a full-time position, working hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
The Benefits:
£35,000 - £40,000 DOE
20 days holiday + bank holiday (holiday increasing with length of service)

Plan and manage production activities to ensure smooth work flows and timely project completion.
Lead and nurture the production team to promote collaboration and high performance.
Efficiently allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to optimise production.
Ensure that all products meet quality standards through thorough inspection and testing.
Implement and uphold health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Identify and drive initiatives for enhanced efficiency and cost savings.
Manage production budgets to ensure cost-effective operations without sacrificing quality.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams for seamless communication.
Proactively address and resolve production challenges as they arise.
Keep accurate records of production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).Production Manager - Requirements
A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing or production, within a managerial capacity.
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering and fabrication processes.
Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams effectively.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or welding processes.
Familiarity with methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
