Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a for a PMO - Operating Model for a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh or Manchester - 2 days per week

Purpose of the Role:

You will be an integral part of the Business Operations Model team, contributing to various aspects of the platform. You will be crafting detailed business stories to guide development, providing support on multiple projects to ensure their successful execution, and regularly reporting on progress to keep stakeholders informed.As a PMO - Operating Model you will be responsible for:

Attending the meetings to manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
Addressing any arising issues and evaluate dependencies.
Initiating cost-benefit analyses. This involves assessing the impact on colleagues, particularly focusing on the finance function to identify opportunities for reducing headcount and costs.
Monitoring various streams of activity related to the evolution of finance and analyse the development of the future operational model for finance. This includes tracking current progress and anticipating future trends to ensure alignment with strategic goal.What we require from the candidate:

Operating model experience - understanding of the ops model.
Strong communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
