Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join a well-established secondary school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HR professional with a background in schools or education to contribute to the efficient running of the school's HR operations.
The Role:
As a HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:
✅ Managing HR records, including staff absences, contracts, and compliance documentation
✅ Processing recruitment paperwork, including DBS checks, references, and right-to-work documents
✅ Supporting the onboarding process for new staff, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are met
✅ Liaising with school leadership to maintain accurate staffing records and policies
✅ Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
✅ Using school HR and MIS systems to update and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
? Previous experience working in a school or education setting is essential
? Knowledge of HR processes, especially within an education environment
? Experience using school management systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or similar)
? Strong organisational and administrative skills
? A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
? An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
