A leader within the UK construction market, offering bespoke joinery solutions for commercial, residential, and specialist projects. They are a fast-growing joinery and interior fit-out company looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Quantity Surveyor to join their team. They are involved in high-end joinery projects up to the value of £15m in some of the capital's most exciting and interesting fit out projects.
Your new role
Based out of the London office, this role is an excellent opportunity for a switched-on individual with strong IT skills. You will need to be highly motivated, a great communicator, and able to demonstrate an astute attention to detail. A logical approach to work and excellent time management skills are essential. Experience in a similar industry is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Divisional Project Directors, Project Managers, and Project Teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, in-house teams, and subcontractors.
Manage cost control, project management, and internal cost reporting.
Submit monthly valuations and produce cash flow forecasts.
Prepare and manage subcontractor and supplier accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

Excellent numeracy skills and IT competencies, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Practical knowledge of quantity surveying procedures and commercial awareness.
Willingness to undertake additional training as required.
Ability to understand the financial implications of decisions and their impact on company value.
Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Eligibility to work in the UK, as we do not currently hold a sponsorship visa license.
