We are seeking a motivated and experienced Animal Technician to join our client's dynamic research team. You will play a key role in supporting cutting-edge studies to explore new treatments and therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake routine husbandry, care, and management of laboratory animals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
* Assist in the design and execution of animal experiments
* Perform and document routine procedures, including health monitoring and sample collection
* Maintain accurate records and ensure the safe disposal of waste in line with ICR protocols
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience as an Animal Technician
* Pil would be advantageous
* Knowledge of animal welfare regulations and laboratory health and safety standards
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a collaborative research environment
