HEIDELBERG PRINT FINISHING OPERATOR

WEST YORKSHIRE

£Generous hourly rate DOE (available upon request!) + 20 days holiday + bank holidays (accruing additional days with service, up to 5 extra days)

Hours: 36-hour week, alternating double-day shifts
* Early Shift: 06:30 - 14:00 (Mon-Thurs), 06:30 - 12:30 (Fri)
* Late Shift: 14:00 - 21:45 (Mon-Thurs), 12:30 - 17:30 (Fri)

Our client offers a complete printing and packaging service as a one stop shop for a variety of markets.

They are looking for a skilled Heidelberg Print Finishing Operator to join their production team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in print finishing, embossing, foiling, and die-cutting, who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a B1 Print Finishing Machine efficiently
Apply emboss and foil impressions to various types of paper and cardboard
Set up multiple foil positions and die-cut full sheets
Conduct in-house quality checks, document issues, and archive samples
Work closely with the production team to optimize machine efficiency and minimize waste
Monitor consumable stock levels and ensure production schedules are met
Use Melonex files to align dies precisely
