About the Role:

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join a leading commercial build contractor on an industrial project in Stowmarket. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting out, ensuring quality control, and supporting the site team in delivering a high-standard project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting Out & Surveying – Accurately set out works using total stations, GPS, and laser levels.

* Technical Support – Interpret drawings, solve on-site issues, and assist the project team.

* Quality & Compliance – Ensure work meets specifications, building regs, and H&S standards.

* Coordination – Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth progress.

* Health & Safety – Maintain safe working practices and monitor site conditions.

Requirements:

* Experience as a Site Engineer on industrial or commercial projects.

* Proficient in surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS).

* Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction.
