Salary: £29,549/year (£15.39/hour)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 5 days over 7 (includes weekends)
Contract: 48 weeks/year

Role Overview: As a Chef de Partie, you’ll collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and flavorful dishes tailored for independent schools and colleges. Your expertise in menu planning, food trends, and exceptional service will ensure we exceed customer expectations every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and cook menu items under the direction of the Sous/Head Chef.
Assist in menu development and stay current with food trends.
Ensure smooth operations within your section, maintaining high standards.
Instruct and mentor Commis Chefs in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Monitor stock, deliveries, and waste, while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience in education catering or a similar environment.
A passion for food and customer service.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Ability to work within budgets and understand food costing.
