ROLE: Embedded Systems Engineer

LOCATION: Wellingborough

HOURS OF WORK: 08:30 – 16:30 (Monday – Friday)

BASIC SALARY: £50K - £60K D.O.E

Company Profile

Our client is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to join their friendly and family run organisation based in Wellingborough on a permanent basis. You’ll work for an established electronics manufacturing company specialising in audio equipment, with research and development, design, production, surface mount assembly, testing and engineering departments.

In this Embedded Systems Engineer role, you will be responsible for:

* Working within the R&D department developing professional audio equipment for the broadcast industry.

* You will be involved in the full cycle of product development and will also provide support to customers with bug fixing and fault finding.

To be successful as an Embedded Systems Engineer you will have:

* A relevant degree level qualification

* 5+ years industry experience

* Embedded software development in C/C++ (FreeRTOS and Linux)

* Digital hardware & PCB design

* ARM microcontrollers & microprocessors (Microchip & NXP)

* Interface protocols – SPI, I2C, Ethernet (TCP/IP, UDP)

* FPGA experience

* Excellent problem-solving skills
