Year 4 Teacher – About the Role

As a Year 4 Teacher, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Develop creative, engaging lesson plans that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum while considering the diverse learning needs within your class.

2. Regularly assess and track student progress, identifying areas where extra support or extension work may be needed.

3. Establish a positive and structured environment to ensure all pupils feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.

4. Work closely with the Year 4 team and other staff to share resources, ideas, and strategies to enhance student outcomes.

5. Maintain open and constructive communication with parents and guardians to discuss progress and share insights on their child’s learning journey.

You’ll play a pivotal role in building your pupils' confidence, curiosity, and readiness for the challenges of the next academic stage.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and prior experience in Key Stage 2 are essential for this role.
