Senior Ecologist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Ecologist to join a well established company in Oxford. Key Responsibilities will include;

Leading and managing ecological assessments, habitat surveys, and impact studies for various projects.
Conducting and overseeing field surveys, including protected species surveys, habitat assessments, and ecological monitoring.
Preparing detailed ecological reports, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Client Liaison - building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on ecological issues.
Mentoring and supporting junior ecologists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

What We're Looking For;

Experience within an ecological consultancy or a related field.
Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related discipline. A master's degree or PhD is advantageous.
Proficient in ecological survey techniques, data analysis, and report writing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation, planning regulations, and best practices in ecological management.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work with a positive impact.
