Salary: £53,650 potential to rise to £63,118 over 3 years

We have an exciting opportunity within NHS Supply Chain for a Principal  Product Owner to join our Customer Engagement team. As a business product owner, you will represent the customer to our technology partners and internal IT and systems architecture teams.

Every day you will … 

Capture customer and business requirements for solutions

Prioritise requirements to ensure successful delivery

Manage, assess, and approve the product backlog

Present product backlog in team meetings

Mitigate and resolve any conflicts to achieving sprint/release goals

Translate customer needs into user stories that can be actioned by our technology partners and colleagues,

Align to both NHS Supply Chain's business goals and its systems architecture strategy.

Represent the customer to the development team ensuring that the customer’s voice is present

 Share Knowledge internally and externally and be the first point of contact for answering questions

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

Experience in agile methodology and ability to translate customer needs into user stories.

Proven experience in product development (minimum 5+ years).

In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.
