Our client are a growing Aerospace component manufacturer, supplying aero engine and airframe OEMs and Tier 1 Suppliers around the world. They have between 100 – 120 employees and are aiming to double their turnover within the next 5 years. Currently on the lookout for a Senior NPI Engineer to join their growing team

Info about what the Senior NPI Engineer role entails

You will work within an established NPI team and will be responsible for managing the process of introduction of new products into the business. You’ll manage projects from concept, costing, design & development through to product launch and serial manufacture.

This will also temporarily manage 2 – 3 engineers when the NPI Manager goes on maternity leave.

Some responsibilities include:

* Managing NPI projects in line with APQP internal procedures from quotation stage to production handover

* Management of NPI team as direct line manager on a maternity leave cover basis

* Preparing and delivering gate review presentations

* Carry out PPAP related activity

Requirements of the Senior NPI Engineer

* Experience managing NPI projects in a manufacturing environment

* Working within an engineering organisation (Aerospace/Automotive preferred).

* Degree, HND/HNC qualified

Desirable Requirements

* Management Experience

* CAD Experience (Solidworks ideally)
