Role Summary
We are seeking a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team temporarily. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring the children are cared for in a warm and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Childcare: Provide high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental progress.
* Learning Activities: Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote early learning and development.
* Safeguarding: Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the protection of all children in your care.
* Observation and Assessment: Monitor and record children’s progress, identifying areas for individual support or development.
* Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient nursery environment.
* Communication: Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring open lines of communication.
* Daily Routines: Assist with mealtimes, nappy changes, and personal care as required.
Requirements
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent.
* Experience: Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Skills: Strong communication, organization, and teamworking abilities.
* Compliance: An enhanced DBS check and references will be required prior to employment.
