Hours:- 8:45am-3:15pm
Salary:- From £11.44-£13.00 an hour

Job Description:-
Excell Supply is currently seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants for a schools in Shrewsbury Shropshire. You must have previous experience and a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification to be considered for these roles. If you believe you have the skills required for this role, please apply now.

Responsibilities:-
• Follow instructions and guidance provided by the class teacher.
• Ensure children's safety both in and out of the classroom.
• Supervise children during playtime and lunchtime.
• Prepare classroom materials, including cutting, sticking, photocopying, and laminating.
• Observe and provide feedback to the class teacher regarding children's learning.
• Effectively manage off-task behaviours.

Requirements:-
• Hold Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification.
• Be an excellent and inspirational class practitioner, with children's well-being at the forefront of all actions.
• Have high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour.
• Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity.
• Demonstrate transferrable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, caring, and helpfulness.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be obtained through Excell Supply if necessary).
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, or eligible to apply for a relevant work visa.
