Job Title: Estimator

Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £70,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a leading Facilities Management provider. This role is perfect for a commercially aware professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident in managing tenders, pricing contracts, and delivering competitive bids.

The Role:As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new business and ensuring the financial success of projects. You will be responsible for:

Managing tenders and estimates for M&E Lifecycle, Sustainability, and Contract Variation projects.
Conducting site surveys and preparing accurate pricing structures.
Developing tender strategies alongside commercial, bid, and operational teams.
Negotiating terms and securing the best pricing from supply chain partners.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining profitable margins.
Preparing detailed commercial reports for senior management.
Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience in estimating within the Facilities Management or Building Services industry.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to assess contract risks and opportunities.
Ability to manage tenders from initial enquiry to final submission.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
High level of self-motivation, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills being an advantage.
HND in Construction or Building Services (or equivalent qualification) is desirable.
